What did you tell us about Trafford General Hospital?
Our NHS@70 project in 2018 had revealed that strong opinions exist among residents about the hospital, with varied knowledge about what it does and a particularly mixed response to what the future holds for the hospital.
So we ran a specific survey to explore further, to which 83 residents replied.
We found that a significant proportion of respondents believed that they could use services at the hospital that are in fact not available there. For example, a substantial percentage of people [32.9%] believe that Trafford General Hospital has an Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
Our report was published in October – it includes the hospital trust’s response to our recommendations, which we will be discussing with them in the near future.
